Staff will check the boarding kennels, training grounds and play areas for any foreign material and security of the complex. Should any material be found or breaks in security, the incident must be reported to kennel manager immediately and No dog’s accepted or bought out of kennels until all “Clear” has been given.

Kennels are to be scrub with water and disinfectant including walkways, grills, floor and walls. All buckets and bowls must be washed, the food room cleaned on a daily basis.

All drains and holes will be emptied twice a day, once in the morning and once in afternoon. Once dogs have return to their pens, all training grounds and play areas are to be checked for stools and foreign materials, when transferring dogs between areas. Dogs must be on leads. All gates must be kept closed and bolted. The Dog Boarding Kennels are a non smoking area at all times.

No visitors or persons not authorized by kennel manager are allowed in boarding kennels, training grounds or play area at any time. Any dog requiring medical treatment must report the matter to Kennel Manager immediately.

Once feeding has ceased, sinks, boards, benches wiped down and washed up. All kennels are to be checked at the end of the day to ensure water bowls are full and stools are cleaned up.

Any staff unsure of the procedures or policies at the Dog Boarding Newcastle must bring the issues to immediate attention of the Kennel Manager. If the Kennel Manager is unavailable, the head trainer is to be informed.
